Specialty Lab Tests are more complex than routine lab tests because they focus on specific health indicators, cater to certain diseases and are used when typical diagnostic tests fail to determine results. The benefits of specialty lab testing is pinpointing disorders at a molecular level, guiding precision medicine and sometimes detecting disease long before symptoms appear in the patient. Pricing is based on service complexity, as specimen processing includes centrifuging, aliquoting, pipetting and packaging the patients' blood immediately after the appointment before shipping it off to the designated lab. Use this appointment type if you received a kit from your lab that requires special processing by a phlebotomist. When scheduling your appointment, please advise the name of the lab, so the phlebotomist can prepare properly for your upcoming appointment.
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation will not result in a refund for any reason. However, you may reschedule your appointment as long as it is at least 24 hours before your appointment. If it is not at least 24 hours before your appointment, you will be charged a $50.00 reschedule fee. No call no show will result in you having to pay for another test in full.
